Attorneys

Scott M. McPherson, P.A.

Attorney Scott McPherson is a New Port Richey native, with an extensive history of service to West Pasco County and the New Port Richey Community.

Out of high school in the early 1980s, Scott achieved his EMT, Paramedic, and Firefighter certificates, and went to work as a county employee with Pasco County Fire-Rescue as a Paramedic/FF. Scott worked for the county for six years before graduating from the University of South Florida, and going to law school.

Scott’s legal career started in 1995 and since that time he has specialized in personal injury law, representing thousands of persons injured in automobile accidents, by defective products, in slip or trip and fall incidents, and other types of general negligence claims.

In April, 2008, Scott was elected the Mayor of the City of New Port Richey, Florida in a landslide victory. City Hall in New Port Richey is a five minute walk from Scott’s office in the heart of Downtown New Port Richey. Scott has also served as the Chairman of the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce and the President of the New Port Richey Rotary Club. He is also on the Board of Directors of Tampa Bay Water, the agency responsible for providing potable water to the entire Tampa Bay area of Florida.

As an attorney, Scott has donated thousands of hours, including volunteer work on behalf of victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States. He was recognized by the American Bar Association for this volunteer work, and recovered over $3,000,000 for victims (all without charge).

Scott is an attorney who is highly accessible. Too many of the “mega firms” that exist today result in clients never even seeing their attorney.

When looking for an Attorney to represent you in an automobile accident or other injury case that happened in Pasco, Hillsborough, Hernando, or Pinellas County, why hire a “mega firm” with offices across the state? Scott has one office, is local, serves the community where he lives, and clients no they will be represented by Scott. Consultations are 100% free.
